Human augmentation?

We believe in the expansion of human experience through the application of biomedical technology. Whether this is from implanted sensors, experimental gene therapies, or other forms of biohacking, this summit is a celebration of the wide range of human potential.

How much does it cost?

The event is free for Vitalia residents. If you have not visited Vitalia yet, you will need to purchase an access pass / membership that will get you to any events and benefits of being a Vitalian for one calendar year.

The online streaming is available, but consider attending in person to access networking and workshop opportunities.

what is Vitalia?

Vitalia started as a ‘pop up city’, similar to Zuzalu. Held at the start of 2024, it attracted hundreds of people interested in entrepreneurship, science, and governance. Vitalia has evolved to become a permanent community on the island. The Human Augmentation Summit is part of Vitalia’s month long focus on biomedical startups.

whAt is symbiont labs?

Symbiont Labs is a biomedical implant startup based in Próspera in Roatán, and the main organizer of the Summit.

how do i get there?

There are direct flights to Roatan (RTB) from Houston and Miami; from United and American Airlines respectively. Following that, you’ll need a shuttle or taxi. You can also take a ferry to Roatán from La Ceiba.

Do i need a visa?

If you’re from the US, or most countries, you do not need to apply for a visa to visit Honduras. Your passport must have at least six months before it expires to enter the country.

do i have to sign up for housing?

Getting housing through Vitalia is optional but highly encouraged. You can also arrange your own accommodations, but keep in mind, you might need to rent a car. The closest hotel is Las Verandas, but the Roatan Yacht Club and Pineapple Villas are also nearby.
